Dr. Farideh Amin is a highly accomplished periodontist with over 30 years of private practice experience. She earned her DDS from the National University of Iran School of Dentistry and specialized in Advanced Periodontics at the University of Southern California (USC). Her expertise extends to implantology, mastered at the Misch International Implant Institute. Dr. Amin also serves as a clinical faculty member at USC’s Department of Advanced Periodontics, sharing her knowledge with future dental professionals.

Dr. Amin’s passion for dentistry goes beyond her practice. She has participated in humanitarian missions to provide dental care to underserved communities:
- Cambodia, 2015: Alongside USC colleagues and her daughter, Dr. Rana Shahi, Dr. Amin joined Smile on U to deliver essential dental treatments to those in need.
- India, 2017: Dr. Amin traveled to an orphanage in Haridwar, northern India, with Smile on U. This unforgettable experience allowed her to bring hope and care to children in need, once again accompanied by her daughter.
