Armin’s Foundation for Education is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a powerful dual mission: teaching the Persian (Farsi) language to students across the United States, while using every dollar earned to build schools and provide educational support for underprivileged children around the world.

Founded in memory of Armin Sharifi, a bright and compassionate young man whose dream was to uplift youth in developing countries, the foundation transforms grief into purpose and every lesson into lasting change.

Our Mission

Provide quality education to underprivileged children throughout the world by building schools — with a special focus on girls’ education providing tutoring, and delivering educational supplies. We serve children of refugees, immigrants, and impoverished ethnic minorities in some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.

Learn Farsi Online or In-Person

Our Farsi language program welcomes students of all ages and skill levels — from complete beginners to heritage speakers reconnecting with their roots. Classes are available both in-person and remotely via Zoom, making quality Persian language education accessible no matter where you are in the United States.

Our curriculum covers:

• Reading, writing, and speaking in Persian
• Original Farsi textbooks developed specifically for our students
• All ages and levels — children, adults, beginners, and advanced learners
• Flexible scheduling for busy families and professionals

Our Story — A Mother’s Love, a Global Mission

This foundation was born from a mother’s unbreakable love. When Armin Sharifi unexpectedly passed away on August 29, 2016, at just 31 years old a top student from first grade through medical school his mother chose to honor his memory not with silence, but with action.

Her mission is simple and profound: to uproot ignorance one school at a time, spreading kindness, education, and opportunity in Armin’s name across every corner of the world.
