Armin’s Foundation for Education is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization with a powerful dual mission — teaching the Persian language to students across the United States while using every dollar earned to build schools and provide educational support for underprivileged children around the world. Founded in memory of Armin Sharifi, a bright and compassionate young man whose dream was to uplift youth in developing countries, this foundation transforms grief into purpose and lessons into lasting change.

Learn Farsi In-Person or Online via Zoom

Our Farsi language program welcomes students of all ages and skill levels — from complete beginners to heritage speakers reconnecting with their roots. Classes are available both in-person and remotely through Zoom, making quality Persian language education accessible no matter where you are in the United States. Our curriculum covers reading, writing, and speaking, supported by original Farsi textbooks developed specifically for our students.

Every Lesson Builds a School

What makes learning Farsi with us truly unique is the impact behind every class. One hundred percent of proceeds from our Farsi program goes directly to Armin’s Foundation for Education. With your tuition and the books you purchase, we fund the construction of schools — with a special focus on girls’ education — and provide tutoring and educational supplies to children of refugees, immigrants, and impoverished ethnic minorities worldwide.

A Mother’s Love, A Global Mission

This foundation was born from a mother’s unbreakable love. When Armin Sharifi unexpectedly passed away on August 29, 2016, at just 31 years old a top student from first grade through medical school his mother chose to honor his memory not with silence, but with action. Her mission is simple and profound: to uproot ignorance one school at a time, spreading kindness, education, and opportunity in Armin’s name across every corner of the world.
